Wee Wednesdsay: Tanis Knits

It's amazing how people are so generous when you are going to be welcoming a wee one into the world. And when you know knitters, it's a given that some knitted baby goodies will turn up! Tanis knitted two beautiful items for little baby bliss to wear:

star sweater

This blue sweater is a Sunnyside Cardigan, knit up in Peacock. And check out the perfect little star buttons!!

The other is the absolutely stunning baby dress, Clara. I've been eyeing this pattern for a while, and so glad that Tanis made one in this pretty shade of green. I'm not big on dressing little girls in head-to-toe pink, so I'm thrilled to have these beautiful colours in her future wardrobe:

Complete with a lovely vintage button at the back:

So beautiful. I can't wait until she's out in the world and I can see her in these awesome knits!

I love that Clara dress! I saw that pattern a couple of years ago. If the early ultrasound predictions are correct and I am indeed having a girl, that knit is going to the top of my list! What great gifts.

What lovely gifts! That green dress is just about the prettiest I have ever seen. I can't wait to see a picture of Sweet Baby Bliss in that darling little number.

Beautiful knits! And I agree with you on pink. There are so many gorgeous colours out there that look stunning on a little babe, and if they're done in the right pattern they can be incredibly feminine. Lucky baby!

I'm big on dressing boys and girls in all colors so it's really nice to see these baby knits in non-traditional gender colors. Your pot roast deserves all things colorful and beautiful (which Tanis' knits certainly are)!

lovely knits. my little boy is almost 4 months old, and i wish i'd made him more hats and booties (they are the two most useful items in his closet!)... may i recommend you make some "christine's stay on baby booties"? they are so easy and REALLY do stay on!
