Hedgies Like Yarn, Apparently

Here is a cute little video (barely over 30 seconds) that G took of Bruce Quillis wandering around the coffee table last night. I have a decorative wooden bowl of yarn balls that I use as a coffee table centrepiece, and apparently Quillis was quite taken with it!

The stripey thing is Bruce's special flannel blanket. G tells me that Bruce was licking the yarn and very interested in trying to get in there- I had already gone to bed (see the time on the cable box?! waaaay past my bedtime), I was sorry to have missed the live show!

So cute! I've never seen a hedgehog in person so this was pretty cool to watch!

Bruce Quillus? That's awesome! Wonder what would happen if you gave some of that yarn to Bruce to get acquainted with.

I love it. I used to have 2 hedgehogs a little over 5 years ago. They were into thier golden years when I got them. Their owners were moving to BC and couldn't bring them. Each one had it's own personality. Emily was my favourite. She was a sweetheart.

Hahahaha, so cute!! And can I just say that Bruce Quillis is the best name for a hedgehog EVER??

Uhhh yeah that is the best name. I mean...Bruce alone is awesome, but if you add in the pun it's just amazing.

i agree w/ what everyone else has said thus far--too cute for words, and great name! such a cute little hedgie-pie! hmm, maybe you could take a gauge swatch, seam it up the sides, and let Bruce party down w/ it? that's what i sometimes do for my kittens, after stuffing the swatch w/ catnip. dunno if hedgies like catnip...
