Modification Monday: Deep in the Forest Sweater

Original Pattern: Deep in the Forest Mittens

Knitter Extraordinaire: Astrid (Ravelry ID)

Mods: Used the charted design from the mittens and fleshed it out to make this stunning colourwork sweater with a circle yoke. Great details on how she made this can be found on her project page, here.

What Makes This Awesome: Mittens into a sweater?! Consider me blown away. I am always amazed when a very intrepid knitter can take the colourwork inspiration from a small knit and transform it into a large scale garment. The cream and the rich browns look so good together; I love the natural colours. What an amazing sweater!
