Post- Frolic, and Going on Holiday!

The 14th Annual Knitter's Frolic in Toronto was this past weekend, and such fun!

2011 Knitter's Frolic, Toronto

I was working at the Tanis Fiber Arts booth, which was so much fun. I had been practising for questions, and was memorizing pricing and yardage info- I didn't quite manage to learn all the colours in time. So many to choose from! And it was really interesting to see that end of the knitting world, how certain colours sell, the way knitters shop- we're all so different, and yet the same.  it's amazing!

G and I are leaving for England in about 8 hours, where we'll spend some family time before heading off for a romantic holiday in Croatia! I've wanted to travel around the Dalmatian Coast for about ten years now, and G thinks I've put it off for long enough.  FOs and holiday photos when I get back!

That is the most unflattering picture of me you put up!! I can't even bare to admit which picture I'm in because It is such a bad angle! There should never be pictures of me taken from behind! But the frolic was so much fun, I spent a lot of time in the TFA booth, and both my friend and I walked away with a lot of TFA goodies. Happy Vacation Julie!

Thanks for such a great blog. I first came across it two weeks ago and since then I have knit two cowls using circular needles...for the first time. So thank you so much for the inspiration. I hooked now :)
