A huge thank you simply must go out to Inger Lundin. She put together a fabulous translation in December, and then I got distracted by the holidays, but it is now live! The side bar (over there to the right) has the short cut to the pattern, in both Swedish and English.
As a complete aside, my favourite Swedish word is 'fika'. I'm amazed that we don't have a word for it in English, but it means a coffee/hot beverage and a treat (such a a slice of cake, a tart, croissant, etc.). "Let's go for a fika!' sounds way more interesting than 'Let's go for a coffee', don't you think?

And yes, "fika" is a cool word. My FIL's parents emigrated from Sweden, I wonder if he remembers the language.

Fika! I love it! It might have to replace what my husband & I always say: 'Let's get coffee/pastry!' I read your post on Stockholm redux before we headed to Stockholm last November & it was so helpful! I got some great local yarn from Sticka... thinking it would be very appropriate for a Stockholm scarf!
It is indeed nice that your Swedish Scarf is now available in Swedish! What a cool word "fika". No such word in French either... We also go for a "café"...

I like that word now too (that I heard about it). So much better because really with your tea or coffee or hot chocolate you want a piece of something. :)

Fika is a nice word, we use it a lot here in sweden! :) //Lena
