Original Pattern: Nightingale
Knitter Extraordinaire: Momo (Rav ID)
What Makes This Awesome: You know, a whole bunch of you sent me an email after this project hit ravelry and suggested it for Mod Mondays- because it's that amazing. I mean, she turned socks into a sweater- that's pretty darn amazing. Momo has a lot of gorgeous colourwork projects, but this really is a knockout- the colour combo is beautiful, the charted design is stunning, and it looks like it fits perfectly. It is the perfect storm of awesome project mods!! I urge you to check out the rest of her projects- Mom's sense of colour and desire to modify patterns is nothing short of amazing.

hope one day I can knit as many sweaters as she can!
Oh, wow! I must say - this is such an impressive mod, and just a lovely design in general! Inspired!
Wow! What a stunning sweater, and I love that colour combo, so dynamic!
I love Morag's Nightingale pattern and when I saw this I gasped in awe, Momo has such a discriminating sense of style and pro workmanship, all her projects are terrific, but I adore her colourwork, amazing considering her rav profile states she's only been knitting for three years, go Momo!
Wow! This is stunning! I love the birds and would've never thought that they come from a sock! pattern. So cool! And reading that she has only been knitting for three years makes me wonder if I should tackle new challenges.
I saw this one, and thought the same, OMG she turned a sock pattern into a sweater - how amazing is she! Needed a place in the Modification Monday.

Too bad I really hate intarsia or I would be all over this! But just looking at it makes me tired.
