FO: Lelah
Pattern: Lelah
Needles: 3 mm for lace, 2.5 for bust (stockinette)
Yarn: Romni Wools Angora Silk
Mods: None, other than the standard measuring and calculating that go with this pattern.
Notes: I couldn't have picked a more perfect project for this yarn. the silk/mohair blend gives the yarn strength, softness, and good drape. And the mohair gives the white yarn a faint halo effect. So pretty! I will say this, though- wet silk is gross. and it really lengthened dramatically once wet blocked- I'd say by about 3-4 extra inches. which is fine for this type of project, but potentially not so fine for others. I love the little green velvet ribbon; it is exactly what I wanted. I was fortunate enough to pick up the notions for this during the TTC knitalong, which meant that I didn't have to wait too long before I could finish this one up. I think I really love it!

Superbe! Really nice.
gorgeous! what a great summer knit :)
it looks fabulous on you! hurrah for languishing WIPs turning into pretty butterflies!
wow!! Now that looks fantastic!! You wear it perfectly!!
Congrats on such a beautiful creation
Nice! I love how the yarn looks. And the length is great.
so beautiful!!!!!!
That looks amazing on you and the knitting itself just looks perfect. I always go back and forth about Lelah because of the strapless factor, but yours is really making me second guess my reservations.
Just super! It looks like you knit it on yourself--the fit is perfect. Lovely.
Squeee! It looks just perfect on you!
very pretty.
job well done.
It looks lovely, you should be totally proud! I'm amazed at how well that fits you and how much the ribbon compliments the lace patterning.
Out of curiosity, is there elastic worked in at the bust to keep it up, or does it just stay fitted by magic/luck?
Great job and it looks beautiful on you!
So pretty! You look great in it.
I guess I should have mentioned that part! the top has a 1" elastic encased in the stockinette at the top. I would not leave a strapless top to chance, I'm not brave that way. :)

Well it fits you perfectly, that's for sure. Love the neutral color you choose. I would grab this all summer long.
That is one gorgeous top!! Honestly, it looks professionally made. I love the green ribbon, too. The whole thing is just perfect!
You should love it - it looks beautiful on you!
Gah! So lovely!
So pretty! You look absolutely lovely!
Va va va VOOM, baby! That is seriously gorgeous!
Does the top stay up? That's my biggest fear with strapless anything, that I'll wind up flashing someone. Not that there's much to see, but, you know, it's impolite.
It's beautiful! And it looks fantastic ON you too! I love the drape of the lace... and that green is perfect with the color of the top. Swoon indeed!
Not only is the sweater beautiful, but you look awesome in it as well! Nice job!
And how! It's beautiful. I'm a big fan of the ribbon, too.
Of course you love it! You look beautiful in your Lelah. The ribbon is perfect, too.
So pretty -
So pretty!
Love it! I also just finished blocking silk and holy does it ever stretch, but I think it's good to get it out of it's system now for less stretching in the long-run...
So pretty! That's the first FO I've seen in that yarn, so that's good to know about the stretch. I'd written off Lelah because of its straplessness, but you've changed my mind. It drapes and fits you so well--none at all of the slightly preggers look that empire waists can produce.
Wow! This looks amazing! Nice to see it done. I want to make mine even more now.
I love this! It is so pretty and it looks great on you. The ribbon is a perfect match - love the green velvet. Great job!
super cute!!
i love that it is longer than most lelahs. :)
also, where did you get that butterfly necklace? it is so dainty!
What a beautiful Lelah! The ribbon is perfect with white! Very feminine and summery!
Beautiful! What a great summer knit!
The top is gorgeous! You did a fabulous job and it fits you perfectly. I must knit one!
Wow, that fits you really nicely! The yarn definitely looks perfect - the colour, the stitch definition, the drape. PS. Nice tan! Reminds me to get tanned before winter is over :S
Oh wow I love your Lelah! At such a fine knit it really brings out the pattern and drape. Beautifully done!
Wow! If only everything I knit turned out that perfectly. It looks wonderful, and that green ribbon adds just the right touch.
That top is gorgeous! I have one quite similar in my ravelry queue. It might even be the same one. I can't wait till its summer in Aus so I can make it.
Wow this is amazing! I love it!
It's soooooo pretty! It's very stylish and it's perfect for the summer. Love it!
There are no words!
This FO should be the feature photo for this pattern, it's perfect!
