Montegos in spades!
My mission is two thirds complete. You've seen so many progress shots already, and there isn't much to talk about the third time around but the difference in fibers, and how that changes the look and feel of a piece in it's entierty. This one is lighter, more elegant and such a fashion statement. I can't wait to see what my girlfriend wears it with, she's such a fashion plate, that one. <3
On with the photoshoot, shall we? Thanks to Tobias Visualbass for these.. xoxo
Amy Singer's Mongeto Bay Scarf in Origin.
It really is a fine scarf.
As promized, I asked Toby to take some "action" shots of the straw/buttercream montego!
Real action, I'm on the phone with Travis, Hi Trav!
*phew*
that was a LOT of photos.
thankyou "chiengun de pie"

And I ll second the beautiful scarfs and great photos post!
And now I have the Montego fever...
Beautiful is that new one!
can i get/buy a copy of the pattern? i'm new to knitting but this blog is very inspiring!
Thanks guys! I can see the finish line now...in the hazy distance. I warn everyone that this pattern takes hold of ones knitting time firmly. This is all I've been knittting for the past three freaking weeks. I fear my fingers will have trouble forgetting this stitch lol
karl lagerfeld,
I got the pattern from the summer Interweave knits. I'g to to this website -->http://www.interweaveknits.com/backissues/SU_07.asp
and either order a backcopy or head out to your local library to see if they have it. Save some dough. Heck trot down to you local lys, I'm sure they'd still have a summer copy. It hasn't been that long.
ps. anyone know of a way to reply to comments...vs just posting another one of my own? (get wordpress right? lol)
Lovely! I especially like that delicate buttercream color.
Hi J!
Thanks for your comments! I really like your scarves... I must say that they did not look to great in the magazine but yours are beautiful! Makes me reconsider the pattern.
