Yup, still in Montegoland. 80% done the second and hope to get the rest done while I'm fighting the passport office today. My own government doesn't believe I'm a Canadian citizen(WTF?!!) So after a lengthy debate(fight) I have to come back with any/all gov't issued ID's I own and a healthy dose of humble pie. There had better be chairs, thats all i gotta say about that.
The Origin montego is comming along nicely though. I've found the color pools into two groups:
- brown/pruple/burgundy
which on it's own would make an amazing scheme
-brown/yellow/orange/red
this bit kind of looks like fire, and adds that drama I was looking for
and as they blend they look like this..
I'm really liking the colors, and couldn't be happier with the fiber. It's smooth, vibrant and oh does it glisten in the sun!

Rarrrrr, fight the power! Bring your pointy sticks while you wait with your ID, that sucks rocks. Beautiful scarf, though. I have a skein of that seasilk that I think may be a swallowtail shawl someday...
The colors of that scarf are all the colors of the autumn leaves...knit on! And Chin up!

Glenna, It was a successfull mission :) The person who I reapplied with at the head office was brilliant. I think a seasilk swallowtail would be gorgeous. A seasilk anything is gorgeous, really. Can't get over how big a fan I am of fleece artist now.
Gina, hey you're right! It's akin to the landscapes up at our cottage. Haliburton is a beautiful deciduous area and from the "loookout(makeout) point" you can see for miles, the colors blending much like the seasilk. Hot damn. I have a whole new look on it!
