Pin Ups: My Favourite Things This Week



Indoor s'mores dip in a skillet? This looks amazing. 


I love this pretty (but understated) macrame plant hanger DIY. I think my place needs a hanging plant.


Here's a pretty new way do to a bun, simple but classic and polished.. 


Have you ever had gnocchi? It's pretty much the best winter comfort food. This delicious kale and garlic version is perfection. 


Using a stamp on a small wall makes such a great impact, don't you think? Such an easy way to bring a fresh new look to your space without a high price tag.

Pin Ups: My Favourite Things This Week



This savory feta cheese french toast looks amazing. I'm loving the creative interpretations on french toast recently - check out last week's Pin Ups post for a french toast roll up


I love this driftwood hanger idea, and you could paint it any colour(s) you wanted. 


This delicious homemade molasses syrup is your new beverage buddy- its' great in coffee, tea, and cocktails. Trust me, you need this in your life. Not only is it super easy to put together, but it would make a great DIY hostess gift, too. 


How to dye yarn for a long gradient effect - with kool-aid!. I have yet to try dying yarn, but the dip dye ombre trend for knits is just heating up, and this looks right on trend. 


Is it dessert? Is it breakfast? It's a chocolate amaretto crepe cake, and I won't judge you if you eat it for breakfast. Hey, it's high in protein!

Pin Ups: My Favourite Things This Week



This is the new perfect breakfast. Full of good stuff, plus you're getting your veggies right out of the gate!


Lemon bars with the consistency of brownies. Sign me up!!


This is meant to be a packing guide, but I'm viewing it more as an easy work wardrobe in 14 items (including accessories!). Let's face it, when you have the right pieces, they all play nicely together. 


I am in love with this adorable upcycle, adding felt fox patches to the elbows of sweaters. I totally want to do this!

Pin Ups: My Favourite Things This Week



Since it seems to be utterly freezing all over the place, how about making the most of it and trying out these frozen bubbles


As soon as I saw this, I was utterly obsessed. I can't wait to go shopping for some felt, I MUST do this! But, I'm biased- I adore foxes. 


I love these simple DIY embroidered cards- a great reason to get excited to write thank you notes, valentines, whatever you want. 


I'm trying to eat more veggies, so this amazing beet and cream cheese dip with pita wedges looks like the ultimate healthy snack. Beets are super good for you!


And these french toast roll-ups look so fun and delicious, a great weekend brunch treat. Plus there's strawberries in them- that makes them healthy, right?

Pin Ups: My Favourite Things This Week



I love this washi tape wall, what a great idea for a non-permanent pop of colour! 


This DIY glitter dipped mug is dishwasher safe. Isn't that amazing? How awesome would you feel drinking your morning tea or coffee out of a glittery mug?


This shrimp and quinoa dinner looks so delicious and fresh, just the sort of high-protein fresh sort of meal I need after all the debauchery of Christmas and New Years!


I don't know about you guys, but I pretty much ate my body weight in desserts and sweets over the holidays. Giving up sugar cold turkey can be tough, but these orange muffins are nice, lighter way to have a little something sweet. 


I'm super in love with this gorgeous knitted swimsuit from the 1920s- back then, all swimsuits were knitted, can you believe it? I love the colours.

I love this reminder bracelet idea for your New Year's resolution. This would be fun to DIY! 


Latkes with apple sauce. I adore latkes, and these are delicious. And sometimes you need the lighter fare, to make room for.... 




Man, I love this stapler. Anyone with an office job needs a cool stapler, right? 


Remember that new Year's Resolution bracelet from the beginning of the post? maybe you could make one using this very cool tutorial on crocheting with beads....

Pin Ups: My Favourite Things This Week



This easy (and much healthier!) chocolate fudge recipe looks amazing, I definitely will be making this. 


I'm loving this pretty gift topper idea, it looks so pretty, and so much nicer than those store-bought bows!


This delicious and easy slow cooker/crock pot turkey soup is just what you need on a cold winter days. It's healthy, it's tasty, and it's ready when you get home from work. win!


I love this take on a pretty, low ponytail. 


And lastly, I don't know about you guys, but I feel like I'm constantly trying to reduce the amount of clutter in my home- reading these tips gave me some new energy to tackle some trouble spot and get rid of the junk.

What a great idea- DIY fabric covered books! there are so many pretty fabrics out there, and this would be a great idea for notebooks, or embarrassing novels. 


these little lemon tarts look perfect for gifting, or bringing to parties. a bit of lemon is a nice change during the holiday season. 


Speaking of parties- are you hosting any gatherings soon? Then you absolutely have to read this super sensible guide to throwing an easy holiday party


Here is a festive drink that is super tasty, but has no booze- which means I think it's totally okay to have one for breakfast.

The whole album is solid,  I listen to it all the time, and I'd love to see them get the fame & fortune they totally deserve.

Pin Ups: My Favourite Things This Week




Little cinnamon shortbread cookies- how perfect are these? 




This awesome sock snake is too cute- and a great way to do something with the mismatched socks lying around. I bet this would be a great draft dodger on chilly window sills or at the bottom of a drafty door!


Lasagna Grilled Cheese. I want to eat this right now! surprisingly full of fresh ingredient, so it feels super indulgent, but is actually not bad for you. 



I love this inspirational bedroom. The bright hit of turquoise and the colourful, small prints just seem so lovely. The whole house tour in the link is spectacular- looks easy and comfortable, yet really stylish.
