Modification Monday: February Fitted Cardi
Original Pattern: February Fitted Pullover
Knitter Extraordinaire: Barb (Ravelry ID)
Mods: Turned a negative-ease pullover pattern into a breezy, body-skimming cardigan. Project page can be found here.
What Makes This Awesome: Barb knew what she wanted- a cardigan version of the February Fitted Pullover, and with more ease. She set about creating this amazing take on the pattern, using some software to totally customize the shaping, armhole depth, and neckline. The result is a true-to-Barb sweater that looks drop dead gorgeous! Just goes to show that when you see a pattern you love, it's worth thinking about how you can customize it to suit your style and needs.

Amazing transformation of a pattern. Second beta test I've seen of Amy's software. Can't wait to get it. Hope it can be used on Mac platform or I'll have to buy time on my husband's computer.
Ooh. Lovely - and practical, too. She'll get a lot of wear out of that. Such a pretty shade of green.
I'm currently knitting a Pine Forest baby blanket. It is the same stitch pattern as the February sweater! I think it's beautiful! I love this Lettuce colorway!
Barb is truly a Knitter Extrodinare. Great cardi, great mods.
Great sweater, love the color as well. Might've put in some extra buttons though, but that's personal ...
