Hot Chocolate Flashback

I'm just getting over a horrendous stomach flu that is apparently going around, which means I didn't get a chance to finish writing an FO post that I originally wanted to post on Thursday. But here's a couple of little things that have been going on:

The Huffington Post has put together a hot chocolate recipe round up, and my orange hot chocolate is in it!
This was from my early 2011 seven days of hot chocolate series, in case you missed it and are feeling like some hot chocolate.

In the fall, I knit this cat bed specifically for my little tabby, Yarn. When crafting for a cat, there is always the risk that they will not be even remotely interested, but fortunately this was not the case for the cat bed- Yarn loves it! I put it in one of her favourite nap spots and she loves to cozy up in it. I just used some miscellanous craft yarn I keep around for knitted toys and such, and it's just right. Would also be a great project for using up odds and ends of leftover skeins, too. You can check out my Ravelry project page for more info.

Congrats -- and thanks (to you and HuffPo) for the reminder of the series. Chocolate and orange is my favorite combination.

And love how bright and cheery that cat bed is! Hope you're feeling better soon.

Wow, that really is cool - both the chocolate series and the cat bed. :)
My only worry now is that if I make something like that to my cat will he get used to it..

That is so neat about your Hot Chocolate recipe being featured. Rightly so, as it sounds absolutely delicious! Yarn is a beautiful girl with and very nice bed indeed.

So exciting about your hot chocolate feature! Less exciting = stomach flu. :( Hope you're well on the mend. I love that kitty basket for Yarn!

That is fantastic news! Congrats! I actually tried a few of your recipes and they were delicious! Whenever you venture back to Montreal you HAVE to try Juliette & Chocolat and Cacao 70. They have your traditional thick hot chocolate from a variety of beans, and tons of flavours...to die for !
