Modification Monday: Diagon Alley

for July 3rd

Original Pattern: Diagonale

Knitter Extraordinaire: Sannah (Ravelry ID)

Mods: Using the lace shawl as an inspiration point, Sannah created this top-down raglan featuring mirrored lace sleeves to keep the pattern consistent. Project can be found here.

What Makes This Awesome:  I was blown away by this sweater when I saw it- it looks so gorgeous! diagonals aren't often used in garments, so transferring the lace shawl design onto the raglan sweater makes for a very striking garment. Knit up in a fun, bright hue like this, and Sannah has a knockout of a sweater! I absolutely love it.
