Modification Monday: Sheep Baby Cardigan

Original Pattern: Sheep Heid

Knitter Extraordinaire: Ann (Ravelry Id, Blog)

Mods: Turned the stranded colourwork hat pattern into a baby/ toddler cardigan. Projec tpage with details can be found here.

What Makes This Awesome:  This is a stunning sweater- I love the use of the sheep design at the hem only, and the geometric shapes at the yoke. Everything about this feels like it's in proportion- the balanced use of neutrals, the pop of green (how perfect for the button band?!), even the sheep. It's just beautiful!

Gorgeous mod. I love the choice of un-orthodox "baby" colours, that acid green paired with brown, it's a stunner.

There is something so wonderfully old-fashioned about this cardi ... I think it's the sweet little collar!

I love this modification! The cardigan is so vintage and classic without looking outdated!
