Modification Mondays: Jessie Milo
Original Pattern: Milo
Knitter Extraordinaire: Meike (Ravelry ID)
Mods: Used a lovely charted design from this sock pattern and altered the sizing and decreases. Great details can be found on her project page, here.
What Makes This Awesome: This is a beautiful example of using colourwork in a knit that didn't originally call for colourwork. Altering the gauge and using the colourblocking stripes of flowers gives this little pullover vest such beauty. I don't think this could be a more perfect piece- it's fresh, light, and flat out stunning.

You've dug out a real gem this time - thank you!
This is sooo cute! I did not think the original pattern was any special, but with these mods it is!

Aww, how cute! I seem to only have little boys to knit for lately. Someone should have a girl...
Oh...what fun! BTW... just saw Alana's new pattern- you look stunning!! I may need to start sending my handknits your way - you can be the face of the knitting industry :)
How sweet! I love the retro feel.
Oh how lovely!
It's so beautiful that I want to have a baby! Anyways, I'll add it to my to-knit-list.
Cheers!
Wow, that sure does look amazing...
