Mods: Jill transformed the long sleeved wrap cardigan into a short sleeved, v neck pullover.
What Makes This Awesome: As gorgeous as the original pattern is (and I'm a big fan of it), wrap cardigans aren't for everyone. I personally don't look that great in them, and subsequently didn't think too much about the pattern. But this mod is so lovely- the v neck is flawless (really- I wish all my v necks looked this professional!), and the lovely stitch pattern that makes the Silk Cocoon Cardi so distinctive plays out perfectly across the shoulder and upper back. Great find! I don't look good in wrap cardis either, so this is fabulous.
BTW, I suddenly found myself in Sur la Table yesterday and bought a madeleine pan. I have a question for you...what is icing sugar? Is it white & powdery? If so, it might be the same as what we call confectioner's sugar.

Great mod. I'm with you on wrap sweaters--not for me. I'm curious: where do you find all the great mods you show us every week? Do you spend hours searching for good ones? Do you run across them randomly? What's your secret? ;-)

Another brilliant idea! Unless they're really long and wrap high, I don't think wrap cardigans suit me either. I will definitely keep this mod in mind if I come across a wrap pattern that I just can't live without.
