I'm Back!! With a New Website, and a new Name!

G has very kindly been working away at  creating the new blog for me while I've been recovering, and today is the new launch! Welcome to Knitted Bliss. It's pretty much the same as Teamknit was in the past, only facing up to the fact that it's been a solo show for a while. I'm so excited!! Please update your links accordingly (although the old site directs you directly to this site, so it's all good).

Recovering from impacted wisdom tooth extraction: I had no idea my face could swell up to the gigantic proportions that it did. If it weren't so painful, it would have been really funny. Because in all honesty, I looked like this:

Only without the smile.  It was so swollen that it hurt to open my mouth wide enough to get a spoon inside. So I drank my food, surviving off of my killer smoothies, and this pumpkin soup recipe, which has been amazing. I doubled the garlic in the recipe, and it was delicious sipped it out of a mug.

You know what was really surprising? Although I have hardly any recollection of knitting at all, somehow, when the drugs were done, I had this:

My apologies for the strange light, I was holding a lamp in one hand and the camera in the other, trying to get a clear shot. I'm still seaming the other sleeve, and then I'll give it a good blocking. FO post to follow very soon!

Great sweater -- and I'm impressed that you did it while recovering. I have a no lace on drugs policy, myself.

You made the right choice for this yarn, I think -- it'll be a terrific sweater.

So sorry your mouth was in so much pain. At least you had some yummy food and knitting to get you through it. Your sweater looks beautiful. I can't wait to see it finished.

Hooray for the new blog! I'm glad to hear that you have finally recovered. That did not seem like fun.
It's pretty awesome that you knit most of a sweater while you were out :)

The new site looks fresh and inviting. Every post is full of inspiration. I just got done knitting up two Felix's cardi's for Baby B due in December. Your version was perfect so I decided on the same buttons ( I also purchased cat buttons for a third cardi). Will send pics soon. Thanks again for thoughts and knitting inspiration.

Welcome to blog-land, Knitted Bliss! The site looks lovely. And I'm glad to hear you're recovered from your surgery! It does not sound fun at all, but smoothies and pumpkin soup sound like great options of you can't use utensils. :(

And that sweater -- so pretty!

I too had been wondering about Jen! RIP, Team Knit; Welcome, Knitted Bliss!

I've been putting off having my wisdom teeth out, but the prospect of drug-induced sweater production DOES make it seem like a nice idea...

P.S. The tagline (at least on Bloglines) still says "Two women, one mission". Don't know if that matters to you, or if it's even possible to change it, but I thought I'd let you know in case you wanted to.
