I need Isla's Blue Cardi

Isla Fisher Blue Cardi
This sweater is fairly generic sure, but I'm head over heels about the color! So vibrant and punchy it lends that hopefulness that comes in springtime. Judging by the looks of that pilling, it's more than likely cashmere. Love it even more! Meanwhile, outside of the LA bubble it's winter. Snowy, slushy winter. Which means heavier knits. There are a hundred versions of these bulky knit cardigans everywhere this season. This one on Megan Fox @ an airport.

I don't know who decided they were the must have, but I'll put money on the same people who picked Sorels as the boot of the season.
I was hankering for a pair of these this Christmas... that is, until I counted 23 pairs within a 5 minute window, mostly on walking Aritzia clones. *shudder*

Love the blue cardi...and I'm usually not one for matchy-matchiness, but the coordinating blue scarf looks very cool. P.S. Does anyone else think that Isla Fisher and Amy Adams look like exactly the same person?

Hm, either that or it's cheap acrylic. Cashmere doesn't necessarily pill at such a fine gauge.

I love that picture of Ms. Fisher! So full of movement! She definitely makes a casual long cardi look nice!

I work at a uni and the TNA clones are swiftly taking over campus. I so wanted to cast on for a fitted cowichan sweater until two girlies walked into my office on the same day a few weeks ago, wearing twin aritzia ones. I'm seeing them everywhere now :( So much for that.

I love sorrels, but not for trendiness! during Snowpocalypse2008 (lol) in Seattle I wore them almost every day.

Love the long cardi! Your post reminded me that I dreamed about knitting one recently. I guess it's a sign I should start one - just after I finish this cowl, those mittens, that lace scarf...

So, not a fan of the Sorels, huh? I'm no Aritzia clone but I got some early last winter and they changed my life for the better. They may be the only trend that's totally sensible. Well, 97% practical and 3% "oh, look what a cute outdoorsy girl I am!"
