'Cause I'm Leaving, On a Jet Plane....

Oh yeah- did I mention that I was going to England? Hmm. Probably should have said something. Well, I'm going to England!Tonight, actually. I'll be in Bristol, Bath, that area. If anyone knows any great yarn shops I should check out, let me know- I did leave a bit of room in my suitcase for some yarn: But I'm not going to be a tourist, I'm going to see this fella: And I can't even begin to describe how happy I am about that.

Eeeeeee!!!! I love Bath, and everyone who goes there. My goal in life is to have a vacation house in Bath, and take many baaahths daily. Seriously. I'm so excited for you! You must go to that famous tea shop (don't remember the name right now). And don't forget all the fun Jane Austen stuff. Oh, and spend some time with the fella in the picture too.

ps: if you need Bath postcards, save your #, I've got some, right here in St Louis!

i just found your site while looking for patterns--and your projects inspire me!

i lived in scotland for two years and i'm not sure if this is in bath, but there is an upscale department store over there called John Lewis that has a really decent yarn selection, particularly of british brands (that's about all they sell over there...rowan, etc.)

How romantic! And I agree with John Lewis. Their yarn selection is quite big, at least at their Oxford St location. Look for the haberdasheries section, teehee.
