I had looked through Ravelry and saw some really pretty ones (this one was especially inspiring):
http://www.ravelry.com/projects/darkaknits/midwest-moonlight-scarf

I think I am going to poke around for a deal on some handpainted merino. It's going to be right up around your neck, chest, and face, and that's where skin tends to be sensitive. A great merino or woool/silk blend would be perfect. I like Knitpicks merino style, but I'm cheap that way! Check out all the different yarns that people have used for this pattern on ravelry- it's incredible to see what some have done. This one I added to my favorites, it's such a departure from the original look, and just through yarn choice alone!
http://www.ravelry.com/projects/MrsR/midwest-moonlight-scarfTeam Knithttps://www.blogger.com/profile/09312254786188352620noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-716624990252627495.post-37251772666168313922007-09-25T10:36:00.000-04:002007-09-25T10:36:00.000-04:00It's so funny- I've been thinking about this patte...It's so funny- I've been thinking about this pattern a lot because I am thinking about sending the yarn for it with Scarf Style for a swap (my first swap, so I'm very anxious to do a good job).

So now that you've started, I'm wondering if you could help me. If you could have the *perfect* yarn for Midwest Moonlight, what would it be?Farrahhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/18260501886908509678noreply@blogger.com
