If this be the case, then perhaps some bias tape stitched across there may do the trick (though guts enough I would not have).
I actually had a similar slipping-off-shoulder problem. The knit just sits there. Frogging it would be much better!Teresahttps://www.blogger.com/profile/02099840174793186789noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-716624990252627495.post-77435247542459849592009-11-23T18:46:27.105-05:002009-11-23T18:46:27.105-05:00Adorable!Adorable!alittlebitofscraphttps://www.blogger.com/profile/06868031136933111908noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-716624990252627495.post-86903686319563862822009-11-23T14:33:41.062-05:002009-11-23T14:33:41.062-05:00Hmmm...well, that looks very similar to the Whispe...Hmmm...well, that looks very similar to the Whisper Cardigan from IK. I would probably use the Whisper pattern and modify it to round out the bottom edges and add in the sleeve ruching.weezalanahttps://www.blogger.com/profile/16531147937067548410noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-716624990252627495.post-85220834414352959212009-11-23T12:18:58.456-05:002009-11-23T12:18:58.456-05:00Oh yes, that is lovely, but I see your pickle. This is a nice shrug, but what I would do were I to knit it, I would knit the sleeves raglan style (see: http://www.ravelry.com/patterns/library/textured-circle-shrug; of course, the pattern has to be adjusted for lace/fingering yarn). Then I would pick up the stitches for the body & neckline...
And now I want to go and start knitting this!juicyknitshttps://www.blogger.com/profile/06958025174291807326noreply@blogger.com
