Yesterday my first ever knitting pattern- the Stockholm Scarf- hit one thousand projects on Ravelry!
To celebrate, Tanis Fiber Arts has generously agreed to send one lucky reader two skeins of Yellow Label (DK weight) in the colourway of their choice.
To enter: leave a comment telling me what your absolute #1 choice of colourway would be to knit up the Stockholm Scarf. And please leave me some contact info- an email address, a Ravelry ID name, something that allows me to get in touch with you! Deadline to enter is midnight on Friday (EST), the winner will be announced on Saturday!

1 – 200 of 564 Newer› Newest»It is way too hard to pick, all the colors are beautiful! But since I have to choose, I would pick teal.
Congrats on 1000 projects! That seems like an awful lot of pattern love! I think you must have come in just before the infinity scarf boom of 2011. Nice timing.
It is a tough choice but I would go for the 'Stormy' colourway as my pick. I absolutely love greens and greys together.
I'm in love with Plum! (My Ravelry username is sarahlippert.)
Oh, that's wonderful! Congrats! I've always loved, loved, loved the Shadow colorway. My email is makingitawkward AT gmail DOT com.
1000 projects - woohoo! congrats, that's gotta feel good. I think I would have to pick Sand for my colorway of choice. RethaKnitsAlot of Rav.
Congratulations! I keep saying I will knit one myself in the Stormy colorway. I am tharensolo on Ravelry.
I'm torn between the Lilac and Spearmint colourways, because both make me think of Spring, which seems so far away in the middle of February.
I agree that it is way too tough to pick but I think I'd have to go with Poppy. Rav ID gracepf
Wow, 1,000 projects! Congratulations!
I would definitively choose Garnet, I love that colour!
Hard to choose just one, but "velvet" is gorgeous.
Thanks for the giveaway. The Stockholm scarf is lovely.
Shannon (affiknitty@yahoo.com)
All the colors are beautiful! But I'll go with dove
I'd have to choose 'Sand' because I think the pale natural blend has a Scandinavian simplicity about it that matches the style and name of the cowl.
And congratulations! :)
All of the colorways are gorgeous, but I think Mallard would be a splendid burst of color in cold weather! nemmanem at gmail dot com.
Too many beautiful colors to choose from. I really like Orange Blossom and Spearmint, but my color is Peacock.
Congratulations on 1000 projects. It's a great accomplishment for a great pattern.
Totally would be up for orange blossom! Loving that crazy orange in this depressing winter!
Congratulations! What an exciting milestone.
My favorite has got to be Spearmint. That green is just calling my name, probably because of the gray winter weather today.
My Ravelry name is Perknitious.
So tough to choose! But that Midnight is gorgeous. (katieleigh83 at gmail dot com)
Congratulations on the 1000 projects!! It has been on my to-do list as well. My favourite colour if I were to pick would be plum. Love your creativity!! Ravelry name NancyH
Congratulations on reaching 1000! There are so many beautiful colors to choose from, but I would go with Peacock. Wearing blue makes my eyes look bluer. I'm Monikita on Ravelry.
Such lovely colors--but I'd pick the punchy Orange Blossom. My Ravelry username is thefinalgirl. Congrats!
Wow, congratulations!! My favorite color is Teal, so gorgeous!

It was a difficult choice but the gorgeous Peacock would be the one I would choose.

1000 projects, that's awesome :-)
I currently have 1 Stockholm scarf cast on. It's intended for a Birthday gift for a friend.
Although I would LOVE one for myself.
It's hard to choose just 1 color from TFA. I would love either Grape or even KRYPTONITE (as my out of the box color. It's crazy how bright it is.
Thanks for the giveaway :-)
Prairie-Knitter (Rav Id)
Beautiful colors - I want them all, but I would probably pick Spruce!
YellowLadyBug on Ravelry
I think i'd pick Lilac. Or Sweetheart... but lilac is really pretty, though sweetheart is really fun... Hmmm...
Thanks for the contest!
Congrats on the 1000 projects!!! I think I would make the Stockholm Scarf in the colorway of "Velvet". I love the shades of pink & purple (my two favorite colors).
Thank you for the opportunity to try & win this giveaway.
My email is tigerwhispers@gmail.com
So pretty! I'm really torn between a neutral and a vibrant color. But, I guess I'll go with Chestnut. It looks so rich and yummy!
I'm bean1082 on Ravelry
congrats! i love all of the colours. but would probably pick atlantic. rav name: byneedleandthread
Beautiful colors! Hard to pick, but Shadow seems to go to the top of the list. (RavID jaf61205)
Congratulations! I think I would have to go with teal (although Plum is a close second.) So many beautiful colors! My username on Ravelry is delighted.
Poppy for sure! Congrats on the 1000 projects! I'm yards-of-yarn on Ravelry.
I would pick Sunset, so pretty!!!
Congratulations! That is a huge milestone! I would love to win this giveaway. My absolute fave colour to knit this up would have to be BRICK. I just love all those warm earthy tones and I think the pattern would be showcased by those tones.
Rav ID - positivepolly
Oh my goodness... what a stunning selection of colours! Eenie meenie minie mo. I think I would have to go with 'Sand' as the colourway would go with anything in my wardrobe and I'm in love with the subtle colour changes that it has too.
Congratulations on the big milestone download. It's one that's been in my queue for a good while now!

I see I'm not the only one that loves the colourway Stormy. Congratulations on your pattern milestone. - ydub on Ravelry
Plum, I'm in the mood to try something in a deep purple.
knittingkathy on Rav
COngratulations, what an achievement and a great givweaway to celebrate.. I would knit in spearmint. Would be lovely, don't you think?
Oh, so hard to pick. I guess I will have to say cobalt. Congratulations on hitting 1000 projects! Email - skyeaton at insightbb dot com. Thanks!
Having already knit one in green, I'd probably shift gears and opt for either Gold or Dove... so hard to choose just one!
I am so tempted to say Charcoal, because grey is so practical, but I already have a grey cowl. I'm really feeling yellow lately, and I really wish it were spring, so I'm going to go with Buttercup!

I would go for the Orange Blossom - it would look great with my jacket and my cardigans - and I like the bright colour.
Wow - 1000 projects - well done!!! I have the Stockholm Scarf in my queue - and I know several here in Denmark, that have knitted one too.

"Jewel" is calling to me... Knit with me, knit with me! So pretty and bright! :)

I love that pattern! Congrats! I love the Orange Blossom colorway the best... and my ravelry name is annahj.
Wow! A thousand Stockholm Scarfs! It's so impressive!
About a colorway- I like Royal Flush most but it's so hard to choose! Lemon Grass and Orange Blossom are amazing...and Sunset...aww...
seeyouat5[at]gmail[dot]com
Congratulations! You helped to make 1000 necks happy :)
I also had a difficult time choosing one color - but it's good to know that you can't really make a mistake. That said, I would pick Stormy.

WOW! congratulations on the 1000 projects, that's so great.
My fav colour for this pattern would be Sunset.
Rav: zenitude
Wow! Congrats! How do I even pick just one of those gorgeous colors, though?! I think I'd have to go for Dove. I've been craving something that's grey but not TOO staid lately!
I've been wanting to knit the Stockholm Scarf since I found your blog! I think it would make a great piece for chilly spring days in Buttercup.
Oh, I'm annatie on Ravelry.
big congrats! i love this pattern already; i cast it on for the first time yesterday actually :) my choice would definitely be plum! *crossing fingers for good luck*
thank you so much for sharing your creativity and inspiration so generously with us, it is hugely appreciated <3

I have to say, I would love to try knitting this in Orange Blossom. I don't have much orange, and I think it would be a great pop of color to add to my wardrobe!
Congratulations on 1000 projects! That's awesome!!
My Ravelry name is GennieCatastrophe.
What a great milestone - congratulations, Julie! All of the TFA colorways are gorgeous, but if I had to pick just one I'd take Velvet. My Ravlery username is PBandJenny. Thanks!
Fantastic! Congrats on the 1000 projects.
..and thanks for the idea of a give away.
I like colourway 'Garnet' best.
My ravelry name is <040ravel>.
Wow! So many colors! I like sweetheart, a pretty pink!
I've got a thing for purple lately, so I'd choose Grape.
Congratulations!
ravname:Viki
So hard to choose! I would go with lemongrass, though. Congrats on the milestone!
Conga rats! I think I'd pick Poppy, because I'm trying to break away from all my purple/green/blues.
Rav name Artemis06
Wow! Congratulations on 1000 projects, that is fabulous.
All the colours are gorgeous, but if I had to pick just one it would be Orange Blossom. I'm really loving orange right now.
(My Ravelry name is SamPixie.)
Wow, 1000 projects! That's impressive! I am in love with the stormy colorway but the plum and sunset are also calling my name...
Your scarf is gorgeous (!) and I would love to make it in Plum. I'm Doodle on Ravelry.
I've been dying to knit myself a stockholm scarf, but it seems I keep having projects for other people get in the way (one day, though!). I would choose the sand colorway, because I always choose bright colors and I'm in need of some neutrals.
ravid:culabrat
Congrats on 1000 projects! THat's awesome.
I think I'd have to go with Dove for this one. (I'm neeuqdrazil on Rav.)
Oh blimey, picking one is nearly impossible! But since I live near it, and love the colorway, I'll say Atlantic.
My Rav name is TrishBadish.
Congrats on 1,000 projects!!
I didn't realize how saturated the colors are! I'm drawn to Mallard right now... though Poppy is giving me some tempting glances.
holy cow congrats!!! I'm not entering...I just wanted to shake a fist at the sky in your honor.
How cool is it that your pattern has been knit so many times?! If I had to choose one, which is sooo difficult, I'd go with Lemongrass.
Royal Flush would be my color!
eevavalentine@gmail.com
I've had this scarf on my queue for a while and I love it! Congrats on such a successful project. Since I already have my favorite TFA (Plum) in lace, I would have to pick Shadow. I have seen a so many projects that look great in that colorway.
knitterlydesigns on Ravelry
Congratulations on hitting the 1000 mark!! I would love to knit Stockholm in the round in Poppy. I do love red and I would love to try the Yellow label as I have knit with the Blue label fingering weight and it was lovely.
My Ravelry name is KNT.
I think I would have to go with Sunset. It looks beautiful and I am sure it knits up great!
katzgalore@yahoo.com
I really love the shadow colorway- it's grey and black and white, and then that pop of light blue! Simple gorgeous. Thanks for the awesome give-away and congrats on such a popular pattern! Blog is collegeknitting.wordpress.com
I'd love to see it knit up in Lemongrass. Congrats on your pattern reaching 1000 projects! You are living the dream :]
(Rav username: Ginerbean)
Congratulations! That's quite an achievement!
I'm so boring, I love neutrals, so I'd go with charcoal.
I'm completely torn between Dove and Lemongrass. On one hand, you always need a gray accessory for when you are wearing a screaming skirt (which happens to me a lot) and Dove is beautiful enough that you won't get bored since it's not really plain gray. But on the other hand the shocking size of Stockholm would be even more impressive in a bright lime green.
Congrats on all the projects. One day I will be joining them; It's such a beautiful scarf.
rav id: grandmastatus
Oh, what a fabulous giveaway -- and congrats on 1,000 projects! :) As for the yarn: what colour choices! It's very, very hard to pick just one. Something like the Stockholm needs to be snuggly warm though so I'll go for the deliciously-coloured Brick, please. I am Heathwitch on Ravelry and my site is knitlace.com. Thanks! :)
Wow! That is alot of projects. I don't know how I never noticed your lovely pattern.
If I had to pick a color, and it wasn't easy, I would pick plum.
My rav id is LakeviewChica! Thanks!
I already have a rusty orange Stockholm Scarf. I think I would choose Royal Flush or Teal, but there are so many beautiful colors. It is hard to choose! My Ravelry username is amanda88.
Oh, I hate when I have to pick just one of Tanis's colours! But I'll go with Atlantic, because it's bluey and greeny, and because I heart the Atlantic Ocean.
1000 projects is amazing!
Poppy of course!!! Every girl need a red cowl!
Executiveknitter (Rav tag)
Oh wow, congratulations! Hmm... I cant decide if I love "dove" or "mallard" most. I'll go with... Mmmmmmmallard! (My ravelry name is mokichoco)
First of all, CONGRATULATIONS! Stockholm is gorgeous!
I think my favorite colorway they've done so far is Dove. It's just so pretty and delicate. It's the perfect combination of pinks and soft bluesy-lavenders. It kind of reminds me of a beautiful lilac tree in spring.
OneOfTheHive on Ravelry/Twitter
Congrats on milestone. If I were to choose the perfect color to knit it in, it would have to be stormy.
I'd have to go with either Deep Sea or Mallard. Love the cowl! I'm Fluffyk on Rav
Beautiful pattern - beautiful yarn. I think I like Velvet best, but they're all great.
Gold please! I've loved his pattern for so long! Maybe I'll make one for next winter. ;)
sherralandmax AT yahoo DOT com
Wow. That is incredible! Congratulations, Julie!! I would either pick stormy or brick. There are so many beautiful colors to choose from!
Congrats on the pattern
So many great colors to choose from but I think I will have to settle on Dove.
Garnet would be the colour for me -- and because I can't just pick one I'd have to go with Atlantic as a back up!!
Wow so great! Congrats. I would have to pick spearmint and do a St. Patty's Day scarf!
Mallard would definitely be my pick, since I find it so hard to choose between the beautiful blues and wonderful greens.
Love your patterns, and congrats! So hard to choose Tanis Fibers are so pretty, but I think Mallard or Velvet would be my favourites just alittle bit of variation not just one colour!
(my ravelry is gaelicrose)
Congratulations on your fantastic milestone and thank you for the chance to win such lovely yarn. A favorite color is surprisingly hard to decide but I think Tidal would be great with this pattern. My Ravelry id is jenninseattle
Congrats on 1000! Thanks for the chance to win the yarn to make Stockholm. As for my choice of a colorway? Oooooh, they're all such pretty colors, but I'd have to say that Dove is my favorite right now. I'm in such a grey mood right now, plus Dove had spots of pink and blue--all colors I live in--so a Stockholm scarf in this colorway would instantly become a staple in my wardrobe. Rav ID: tmueller128
1000 projects!!! Congrats! That is awesome.
I have to choose one??? eeekkk! Ummm I like the natural's like Sand but I also like the brights like colbalt and deep sea...
I'm gonna say cobalt.... final answer!
Congratulations! Man, what a tough choice...I'm gonna have to go with Deep Sea though!
Congrats! It's easy to see how 1000 people would make such a gorgeous scarf. As for choosing only one color, it's almost mean to ask this of me, they are all INCREDIBLE... I've changed my mind already 4 times, and I land on... plum. No, charcoal. RavID: sydneypaige
What a magnificent milestone! Congratulations and thank you for offering up such a delicious present for us - I would love to use Buttercup because that colorway would just brighten up any day.
Wow. If I had to choose from all this gorgeousness, I would say midnight; I'd wear it every day of the year, maybe. No matter what the weather was...and I've been meaning to do this pattern for awhile.
My username is helene8706 on Ravelry.
Congrats on hitting the quadruple digits! I would have to go with Spruce, to remind me (in absentia) of the lush evergreen trees in my beloved Pacific NW.
-Julia (julia [at] haskinphoto.com)
Whoa, really hard to choose! But I love lemongrass. My Ravelry name is Vanillamilkshake.
The Stockholm Scarf is absolutely on my project list! I love the size and the detail. :)
The Dove color is just beautiful.
Thanks for a great giveaway!
eirenikos at gmail
thanks for the giveaway. my current favourite tanis colourway is brick. although i'm really looking forward to the release of the frost colourway.
my rav id is, mjmknitting
1000 projects?!! Congrats for that popularity (I have to say that this scarf had been in my queue for quite a while)!
My favorite TFA color? Very tricky, as Tanis is doing an amazing job... I'll go for Poppy. What could be better than a bright cheerful red to fight winter grey weather?
My Stockholm scarf is kind of caramel-y, but from these colourways I would definitely choose Teal, because it makes me think of the sea and the holidays :) (and a scarf made of this yarn would go perfectly with my red hair. just sayin'.) My ravelry id is rossiecotton and email rossiecotton@gmail.com
WOW! 1,000 projects! Congratulations! The color choice is very difficult. I'm going to have to go with Teal.
Thank you for a wonderful blog.

1000~Congrats! I really enjoy your blog.
If I had to choose just one, I'd go with Dove. I've been on a grayish kick.
Thank you!
Wow, what a great giveaway! Thanks, Julie!
I have been coveting cobalt for ages. Thanks to Tanis for the offer, too.
Jenn (JenberC on Ravelry)
When I first picked knitting up again and discovered Ravelry, one of the first patterns that caught my eye was the Stockholm Scarf!! I haven't knit it yet because I live in Texas and it hasn't gotten all that cold. But I'm so excited about this giveaway!! The Stockholm is still in my favorites and it would be awesome to finally get to knit it for a Texas friend who recently moved to D.C.!! My favorite colorway is Brick. I'm a huge fan of what I call "muddy", earthy colors and this fits the bill perfectly.
RAV ID: Naycha
This cowl is in my queue, and the pattern printed out in my knitting basket, just waiting for the right yarn ;)
I would pick Stormy - it reminds me of home (Scotland), and would go beautifully with my winter coat.
rav id: Kirstyl
Congratulations! Although I'm not at all surprised, it's a great pattern :-) I think I'd choose Brick for this project: warm colour, warm scarf!
-kijibaji
Congratulations - that's a tremendous milestone to achieve.
Although in a serious gray phase at the moment, my first love is Lilac. Have loved that colour since I was a little girl and that was some time ago :)
aknitontheside (rav)
My first choice would be Velvet followed closely by Charcoal. Thanks for the giveaway and congrats! My Rav username is TallyHo575
Congratulations! This is such a great pattern. So many gorgeous colourways - but I'd just have to choose Stormy.
Congrats on your 1000 projects!
Choosing a color from such a beautiful palette was hard - but my absolute #1 is GARNET. And hopefully the 1001st project of the Stockholm Scarf on Ravelry will be mine in garnet :) (My Ravelry ID is Carmela-Biscuit)
that's great, 1000 projects already! And h'mm..which colorway. They're all so beautiful…but I think I'd pick Spruce. I'm Beanershnump on ravelry.

Love these yarns, haven't seen them before. My favourite is Stormy - just because! (Strange, because I'm typically a browns/oranges/reds/warm greens sort of person!
I love the Storm Cloud and Cobalt Colorways. Congrats on such a beautiful and popular pattern!
I've been eyeing the gold ever since Tanis posted about it! (Ravelry ID: azpidistra, email: srmaclin@gmail.com)
Congratulations on the 1000 projects!
It's a tough choice, but I think it would have to be Orange Blossom.
We've had no snow all winter and now that it's the middle of February and we're all looking for spring, we've had snow for the past 4 days.
It's a cruel joke!
So maybe some Orange Blossom yarn will get Mother Nature moving in the right direction.
And if not, at least there's a beautiful scarf to wear in some lovely cheery yarn!
I'm Woohoo on Ravelry
I'm one of those 1000! I've already knit the scarf in an avacado green colorway (of a different yarn)... and I would love to see it knit up in a blue. I think Atlantic is my favorite of the Yellow Label.
—Allie (alevtina on Ravelry)

Tangerine is the hot new color and I see that reflected in the Orange Blosssom color way. I if win I may just have to try some double knitting with it. Lisalowell. At either gmail or revelry

I have a lovely Stockholm scarf that I wear all the time in blue/green/white colours. If I were to make this one again I think I would like to make it in orange blossom. Congrats on hitting a 1000 projects! It is a fabulous pattern.

Congrats! Stockholm has been on my queue for far too long, and this might be the push I need to start it! I've been ogling the "Dove" colourway for ages, I think it would look so lovely when knitted and wound around the neck. Thanks for the give away!
Congrats on 1000 projects! I've been admiring your Stockholm Scarf for quite some time, but I haven't had the right yarn for it in my stash.
I've also been admiring the Tanis Fiber Arts Spruce colourway for a while now. :)
My favorite TFA colours are Cobalt and Midnight. However for this pattern I think I would pick Dove.

1000 projects is definitely something to celebrate. Congrats! So many gorgeous colourways; it's hard to choose! I love the subtlety of Dove. (Rav HolliYeoh)
